There’s not much you can add to the already perfect flavors Hashem instilled in nature, but this combination of fruits is something spectacular and the poppyseed dressing ties it all together.
Serves: 16
Salad
1 cup blueberries
10 large strawberries, diced
2 Macintosh apples, diced
2 cups pomegranate seeds
(from 1-2 pomegranates)
25 green grapes, diced
1 large nectarine, diced
3 kiwis, diced
Dressing
1 tablespoon poppyseeds
4 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon white vinegar
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
1. In a large bowl, mix blueberries, strawberries, apples, pomegranate seeds, grapes, nectarines, and kiwis.
2. In a small bowl, combine poppyseeds, orange juice, vinegar, lemon juice, and honey.
3. Pour dressing over fruit and toss to coat.
Note: This fruit salad is best made right before serving, but it can also be prepared 1 day in advance and stored in the fridge.
