⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ These are highly addictive! Take one bit of these delicious crispy rings, and they will become your new favorite BBQ side dishes! You can dip ‘em, dunk ‘em, or just eat ‘em by the handful. You can’t go wrong!
Tip: make them fresh and eat them soon after making them for best result.
2 cups flour
4 eggs
1⁄4 cup oil
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/4 cup water
5 large onions
Oil, for frying
1. Heat a pot filled with two inches of oil.
2. Mix flour, eggs, oil, paprika, salt, and water in a
large bowl. Slice onions into circles and separate each layer to form onion rings. Coat each ring in batter, then drop carefully into the hot oil. Fry for about two minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
