1 (3 1/2 lb.) whole chicken
1⁄2 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon Lawry’s seasoned salt Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
1. Place chicken on a parchment- lined baking sheet. Pour maple syrup all over the chicken; try to get some under the skin without tearing it.
2. Season with Lawry’s and salt and pepper.
3. Roast at 375°F for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a thermometer shows the inside temperature at 165° or a drop higher.
4. Let chicken rest for 20 minutes before carving.
