Hands down this is the absolute best honey cookie recipe ever, these cookies are so soft sweet and fluffy you won’t stop after you have just one! Rosh Hashana is just three weeks away, start off the new year on a sweet note by making these scrumptious cookies.
PS. I’m a slight perfectionist and when I was creating this recipe, the first time around, the cookies were delicious but they didn’t look as good as they tasted, and I could have left them as is however I wanted them to be perfection so I sat and analyzed what needed to be different and the second time around after I had made a few changes they came out exactly how I had envisioned! Your going to love them!
Tip: spray your hands with oil before forming the cookies into balls that will help the dough not stick to your hands
Recipe:
5 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1 1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
5 1/2 cups flour
Mix the eggs, sugars, oil, and honey. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours. Forms into small balls and bake for 12 minutes at 350°
