Starting off the week right …
It’s healthy, it’s yummy, and it’s a green juice—yes, you read that correctly. Who knows, you may actually skip going to the juice bar the next time you’re craving a boost. Making one at home is just that doable!
Serves: 1-2
1 kiwi, peeled
1 green apple, unpeeled
4 stalks celery
1⁄4 cup frozen spinach
1⁄4 cucumber, unpeeled
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons maple syrup Handful ice cubes, optional
1. In a blender, combine kiwi, apple, celery, spinach, cucumber, lime juice, water, and
maple syrup, blending until it becomes liquid.
2. Optional: Pour the juice
through a disposable soup net to strain. Re- turn juice to the blender, add ice, and blend until it reaches the consistency of a slushie.
