From the minute these start cooking, you’ll start enjoying them already, the aromatic cinnamon scent is sublime. Take a bite, it tastes just right. Elevate your pesach these poached pears, this is a recipe you’ll enjoy for years.
Recipe:
3 cups grape juice (24 ounce bottle)
1 cup sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
5 Bosc pears (brown) peeled
In a wide and deeps pot, Bring the grape juice, sugar, and cinnamon sticks to a boil. Peel the pears keep the stem on, add them to the pot. Rotate the pears every 1/2 hour. Simmer for 1.5 hours. Place in the fridge and cool before serving. Serve cold (or warm)with icecream.
