Blueberry Limonana

During a recent trip to Israel, I found myself drinking a lot of limonana, a quintessential Israeli drink that is featured on every restaurant menu. Its blend of tart lemon and subtle sweetness, plus lots of fresh mint, served with crushed ice (garus) or ice cubes, became an irresistible treat in the summer. heat. Back home, faced with leftover mint from recipe testing, I couldn’t resist recreating this refreshing drink. Adding some blueberries from my freezer seemed like the perfect twist-and indeed, it was a delightful pairing that elevated limonana to new heights of flavor.
