Better Than BBQ Burgers

This recipe dispels the myth that baking a burger would produce a dry patty with weak flavour. I assure you that these are most definitely juicy, tender, and flavourful period nobody will guess that they weren’t grilled!

Yields 5 burgers


Recipe:

1lb ground beef

2 tablespoons good quality BBQ sauce

1 egg yolk

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder


1. Pre-heat oven to the broil setting. line a baking sheet with alumina foil and set aside


2. In a bowl, combine beef with barbecue sauce, egg yolk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder


3. Divide mixture into 5 burgers and place on the prepared baking sheet. Broil on high for 5-6 minutes per side , until golden brown
